Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Station Setup & Breakdown: Preparing ("mise en place") stations before service and cleaning them afterward.
- Cooking & Plating: Cooking food to order using various techniques (grilling, frying, sautéing) while following recipes.
- Safety & Sanitation: Adhering to food safety guidelines, such as proper food storage and temperature controls.
- Efficiency & Communication: Maintaining high speed and accuracy during, frequently communicating with other staff to ensure smooth service.
- Inventory Control: Monitoring food stock levels and reducing waste.
