Hoist Machine / Line Operators

Our partner in Jackson needs full-time Hoist Machine / Line Operators to add to their team!

1st shift: 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM

2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Starting wage is $16-$16.75/hour

Full-time, temporary to permanent positions in Jackson, MI.

Job Duties for the Hoist Machine / Line Operators:

• Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.

• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.

• Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators of any malfunctions.

• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.

• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.

• Mark or tag identification on parts.

• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyance

• Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment.

• Clean and lubricate equipment.

• Record information such as the number of products tested, meter readings, and product production dates and times.

Requirements for the Hoist Machine / Line Operators:

• Previous machine operator, hoist or forklift experience required.

• Skills Required: Computer skills.

• Background Requirements: Case by case

• Diploma/GED Required
