Position: PCU / Stepdown RN (Telemetry)
Location: Beckley, WV (Beckley ARH Hospital)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Start: 06/23/2026)
Shift: Nights, 3x12 & 4x12 Rotating (07:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 36/48 hrs biweekly)

- Minimum 2 years of current PCU / Telemetry / Stepdown RN experience \t
- Experience with 1:5–1:6 patient ratios \t
- Experience in Level IV Trauma (or higher) preferred \t
- Meditech EMR experience preferred \t
- First-time travelers accepted (based on relevant experience)

- Graduate of an accredited RN program \t
- BSN – Preferred
- \t
- Active West Virginia RN License or Compact License (required at submission) \t
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) \t
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) \t
- NIHSS (Stroke Certification) \t
- AVADE Level 1 & 2 – Preferred
- \t
- Must live at least 75 miles from facility \t
- Must be able to work 36/48 alternating weekly schedule (3x12 one week, 4x12 next) \t
- Every other weekend required \t
- Float required within scope of practice \t
- Maximum 1 RTO request (must be submitted upfront) \t
- Must accept working either a major or minor holiday \t
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

- Provide care for PCU/Stepdown/Telemetry patients with moderate to high acuity \t
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias \t
- Administer medications including cardiac drips (with/without titration) \t
- Manage central lines, PICC lines, and ports \t
- Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration \t
- Care for patients with respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, chest tubes) \t
- Treat patients with neuro, cardiac, renal, and post-surgical conditions \t
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR \t
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care

- Patient Ratio: 1:5 (Days/Nights), 1:4 (Weekends) \t
