Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM | On-call coverage as required

Position Overview

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Board-Certified Urologyto provide high-quality care to our nations Veterans. The selected physician will deliver comprehensive urologic services on-site during regular clinic hours and provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients requiring urologic care in accordance with VA standards and clinical guidelines.
• Ensure patients are seen in a timely manner consistent with VA clinic wait time policies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation in compliance with VA requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including:
  • Weeknight Call: 4:00 PM 7:30 AM (average 10 nights/month)
  • Weekend Call: One weekend per month on average
• Be available by phone within 15 minutes and on-site within 60 minutes during on-call hours.
• Communicate regularly with the Chief of Staff and COR regarding performance measures and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
• Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
