Role Summary
The Secretary to the Assistant Principal provides essential administrative support to school administrators. You are responsible for the daily "pulse" of the grade-level office, including managing student attendance, maintaining discipline records, and facilitating parent-teacher communication. You ensure that office procedures are followed accurately while providing excellent human relations and customer service to everyone who walks through the door.

- Administrative Lifeline: Act as the primary point of contact for the grade-level office, managing incoming calls and directing inquiries with professionalism.
- Attendance Guardian: Enter and verify student attendance data, communicating regularly with parents to ensure every scholar is accounted for.
- Discipline Documentation: Maintain secure and accurate discipline files, including inputting data, preparing hearing packets, and distributing formal correspondence to faculty and families.
- Registration Lead: Assist with student registration, updating information forms throughout the year to ensure student records are current and complete.
- Summer Support: Serve as a vital support during summer school operations, ensuring a smooth transition between academic years.
- Executive Correspondence: Type and prepare professional correspondence, reports, and suspension letters on behalf of the Assistant Principal.
