We are seeking a reliable and energetic full-time Transfer Driver. The Transfer Driver's responsibilities include driving a company delivery vehicle to transport merchandise between the warehouse and the company stores as well as loading and unloading merchandise.
A CDL is NOT required for this position. License MUST be approved by insurance. Come be part of the growing team!
To be considered, MUST have previous delivery driving experience, a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, and a BACKGROUND clear of ALL CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.
What You’ll Do:
- Load, secure, and protect the merchandise in the delivery vehicle and safely transport to showrooms
- Unload merchandise at showrooms and perform basic assembly
- Assist with room set ups on showroom floor
- Assist Floor Coordinator decorate showrooms (hang art, hang rugs, adjust track lights)
- Maintain compliance with the company’s driver qualification policy
- Abide by all transportation laws
- Comply with all company delivery vehicle safety standards and documentation
- Serve as a backup for the Furniture Delivery Driver
What You'll Bring:
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must have a positive attitude
- Ability to move and lift heavy objects
- Must have previous delivery driving experience
- Experience with assembling furniture is a plus
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Background check free of criminal activity
