Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Stroudsburg, PA, providing home health services where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well being. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized treatment programs and educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures and safe use of equipment.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA‑approved program.
  • Current state license as a Physical Therapist required prior to start of assignment.
  • Proof of current CPR certification required.
  • Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal auto insurance required.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required.
  • Ability to perform physical demands of home health, including lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing and walking.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally.
  • Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Experience ordering and using durable medical equipment and providing patient/family education in the home setting.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous home health experience preferred.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional growth preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Position is for home health Physical Therapy in Stroudsburg, PA.
  • Must be able to travel locally and accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence.
  • Requires physical performance of visits in patient homes, including use and adaptation of rehabilitative equipment.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled physical therapy to patients across the lifespan in the home setting. Perform clinical assessments, develop and revise Plans of Care, document progress notes and phone orders, and coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Promote infection control and universal precautions. Supervise other team members when applicable.
