Position Title: Travel-Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Location: Sonora, CA, USA

Department/Unit: Cardiovascular Imaging

Shift: Day Shift (4 - 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a rotating day off)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Salary Range: $60 - $70 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team in Sonora, CA. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing cardiovascular imaging procedures and committed to providing high-quality patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment while contributing to patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiovascular imaging procedures, including angiography, venography, and other related diagnostic tests.
  • Operate radiological equipment and ensure high-quality images are obtained for accurate diagnosis.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast materials as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and assist in treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in cardiovascular imaging preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular radiology or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
