Summary:
We are representing a reputable general contractor seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee large-scale multifamily new construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for leading field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish
Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnel
Coordinate with trade partners, architects, engineers, and inspectors to maintain schedule and quality
Lead daily and weekly site meetings, ensuring all project goals are met
Enforce safety standards and maintain readiness for OSHA inspections
Oversee site logistics, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination
Review and interpret plans, submittals, and project documentation
Track progress, prepare look-ahead schedules, and manage closeout activities
Promote company values of integrity, teamwork, and accountability on every project
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or multifamily construction
Proven success leading ground-up projects from start to completion
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site safety, and building systems
Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractor crews effectively
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines
Familiarity with interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
