Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Document patient care and progress in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Participate in training and continuing education to stay current in medical technology.
- Valid state certification or license as a Medication Technician.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred, especially in long-term care.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
