We are supporting a client in the automotive manufacturing industry that is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a 3rd shift opportunity in Marysville, MI. This position is responsible for leading maintenance operations, supporting production uptime, and overseeing maintenance personnel in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and assign work to maintenance employees and contractors
- Support equipment uptime, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, ISO standards, and plant procedures
- Inspect maintenance work for quality and completion
- Coordinate spare parts ordering and support equipment installations and buyoffs
- Monitor preventative maintenance schedules and maintenance KPIs
- Handle employee relations, training, discipline, and grievance resolution
- Conduct troubleshooting and support repairs on CNC machinery, robotic systems, and automation equipment
- Maintain maintenance records, labor tracking, and related system updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of maintenance leadership or technical experience in manufacturing
- Experience supporting machining, grinding, heat treating, or automated assembly equipment
- Knowledge of Fanuc robotics, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills in a production environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting production demands
- Understanding of safety standards, MIOSHA requirements, and preventative maintenance practices
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Schedule
- 3rd Shift
- Typical hours: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
