• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm–7:00am)\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890\n
• Start Date: May 11, 2026\n
• Care Setting: Acute care, Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) unit — 30-bed unit with private rooms\n

\n\nQualifications / Job Requirements\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; ability to obtain Nebraska RN licensure if required\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — required\n
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification — required\n
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care or inpatient setting\n
• Preferred experience: chest tubes, pain management, TPN (total parenteral nutrition), CBI (continuous bladder irrigation), wound care\n
• EPIC electronic health record (EHR) experience is a plus\n

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population (post-surgical, dementia, respiratory illness, cancer, COVID-19)\n
• Manage appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (1:4–6) on night shift\n
• Perform clinical skills consistent with Med/Surg and acute care RN scope of practice\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nurse aides, respiratory therapists, and monitor techs\n
• Float to PCU for Med/Surg overflow or low-acuity PCU patients as needed\n
• Participate in block scheduling and work every 3rd weekend and holiday (flexibility required)\n
• Comply with solid color scrub dress code\n
• Complete required orientation: two days nursing department orientation and one day unit-specific orientation\n
