CDL A Flatbed Driver

We are seeking a Class A Driver with experience to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer with a flatbed trailer to make deliveries within the state. Hours will be 4:30am/5:30am - finish.

Essential (primary) functions include but are not limited to:

• Drives heavy trucks of up to five axles (flatbed) & performs minor maintenance on truck
• Picks up & delivers materials at work site as directed by customer.
• Ensures that material, equipment, & safety devices required for the job are loaded prior to moving to the job site.
• Must be willing to work inside the warehouse so you learn the product you're delivering and fill in if needed
• Performs minor adjustments & preventive maintenance.
• Performs an operational & safety check of the truck before use

Required education/work experience:

• 2 years of experience in the operation of five axle trucks with flatbed
• Class A Driver License with clear MVR
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission
• Must be able to accurately read tape measure

Necessary (required) skills:

• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Plus if you have a forklift certification or experience on a forklift
• Good customer service skills

PHYSICAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must be able to walk, stand, sit, climb and apply all motor functions in order to perform the job. May be required to lift up to 75 pounds.
