Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Golden, Colorado.

Job Summary

• Perform scrub duties and maintain sterile supplies and technique.
• Assist in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients.
• Assemble, organize, and complete case carts based on doctor’s preference lists.
• Provide appropriate instrumentation, suture, and supplies as requested while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments during procedures.
• Count sponges, needles, blades, and instruments per established policies.
• Handle specimens, implants, dressings, soiled instruments, contaminated materials, and sharps according to policy and standards.
• Ensure timely turnover of rooms, including cleanup, replacement, and restocking of supplies and equipment.
• Care for instruments and equipment.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health and adhere to service behavior standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs.
• May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from a formal, accredited surgical technologist program (or equivalent military training).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Two (2) years of Surgical Tech experience, including one (1) year of CVOR scrubbing experience.
• At least one (1) year of cardiovascular experience as a Surgical Tech.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of clinical experience in an accredited hospital.
