Schedule: Variable Shifts | Morning, Evening & Overnight Availability a MUST

Pay Rate: $25.00- $30.00 Per Hour

Guardian Security Services is seeking professional Fire Life Safety Director to support a commercial property in New York City.

The position is ideal for individuals who demonstrate sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a polished, professional demeanor appropriate for a residential or commercial environment.

Established in 1918, Guardian Service Industries is a fourth-generation family-owned company providing Security, Janitorial, Engineering, Pest Control, and Facility Support Services.

We support more than 1,000 properties across the East Coast, New England, and Florida, including commercial buildings, residential communities, transportation hubs, schools, and government facilities.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Manning the command station as well as the lobby desk

Ensuring visitors are signing in

Greeting employees, visitors, vendors etc.

Directing lobby traffic

Maintain surveillance and reporting of any suspicious persons and/or packages.

Making announcements

Responding to alarms (supervisory, trouble and fire)

Carrying out EAP and fire plans when necessary

FLSD Qualifications:

Current NYS Security License

Current F89 License

1 year FLSD experience
