Purchasing Coordinator - Residential Remodeling (Hybrid)

Woodmark Homes is growing, and we’re looking for a Purchasing Coordinator who loves details, communicates clearly, and appreciates a workplace where people take their work seriously — but not themselves. We’re a highly organized, well‐run residential remodeling company with a laid‐back culture and a healthy respect for evenings, weekends, and sanity. This full time position is a hybrid-role, mostly work from home with on site meetings.

What You’ll Do 

• Create and manage purchase orders for remodeling projects 
• Order cabinetry, flooring, tile, fixtures, lighting, and all the fun stuff that makes a house look good 
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and vendors to confirm selections and lead times 
• Track orders and deliveries so schedules stay on track 
• Communicate with suppliers about pricing, availability, and shipping updates 
• Resolve the occasional “that’s not what we ordered” moment with professionalism and grace 
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and assist with cost tracking 
• Support field staff by coordinating job site deliveries 

What You Bring 

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, construction coordination, or administrative support 
• Experience in kitchen and bath cabinet design is preferred.  
• Strong organizational skills and a love for details 
• Excellent communication and follow‐up habits 
• High attention to detail and accuracy 
• Ability to work independently while staying connected to the team 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or construction software 
• Bonus points for cabinet design experience or knowledge of residential remodeling
