Block Mason - Immediate Hire - Start Monday

We are hiring an experienced Block Mason to join our small masonry crew, working primarily on diverse residential and commercial projects. This role involves block, brick, stone, and concrete work requiring precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to safely manage site activities. The position demands heavy physical activity, occasional travel to multiple sites, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lay brick, block, and stone according to project specifications
• Mix mortar, concrete, and other materials accurately
• Build and repair walls, walkways, and structural elements
• Read blueprints and follow layout instructions
• Operate masonry tools and equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Prepare materials and manage worksite organization
• Travel occasionally to multiple job sites as needed

Required Qualifications

• Prior masonry experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various conditions
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of masonry experience
• Vocational training in masonry or related field
• Proficient with masonry techniques and blueprint reading
• Experience mixing concrete and using masonry tools
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and continuous activity
• Effective team collaboration skills
