Role Summary

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders placed through our e-commerce store and via pruchase order. This role ensures that the right products reach the right customers on time, every time. You will pick, pack, verify, and ship orders while maintaining accurate inventory records within our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and on schedule
• Verify order contents against packing slips to ensure correctness before shipment
• Generate shipping labels, coordinate with carriers, and track outbound shipments
• Maintain organized, clean workspaces in the shipping and warehousing areas
• Communicate order status updates and flag discrepancies promptly
• Support receiving of inbound goods as needed

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail — our products are precision optical components and order accuracy is non-negotiable
• Diligent work ethic with the ability to follow processes consistently and reliably
• Computer literacy to use email and web-based platforms
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 30 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience working in a fulfillment role or warehouse environment
• Familiarity with Shopify, Acumatica, or other ERP/e-commerce fulfillment platforms
• Experience with inventory control processes (cycle counts, stock reconciliation, warehouse organization)

Preferred Qualifications

• This is a full time on-site role. The preferred schedule is 7:30AM to 4PM PT.
