About the Role

Mercy House, Inc. is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and oversee the organization’s operations, programs, finances, and community engagement. The Executive Director works closely with the Board of Directors to advance the mission of preventing homelessness and supporting individuals and families in achieving housing stability.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide overall leadership and serve as primary liaison to the Board of Directors

· Oversee all programs to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed services

· Manage organizational finances, budgeting, compliance, and operations

· Supervise and support staff, fostering a positive and mission-driven culture

· Lead fundraising efforts, including grants, donor relations, and partnerships

· Serve as the public face of Mercy House and ensure consistent communications

· Oversee enterprise operations in collaboration with thrift store leadership
