Finish Carpenter/ framer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter/ Framer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine woodworking, trim installation, custom carpentry, and interior/exterior framing. This role involves crafting and installing interior and exterior woodwork with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

•Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood pieces such as doors, windows, trim, moldings, staircases, cabinetry, decking, interior framing, and exterior framing.

•Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

•Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively.

•Inspect and repair existing woodwork as needed.

•Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.

•Collaborate with contractors, builders, and other tradespeople on job sites.

•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications:

•Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter/ Framer or in a similar carpentry role.

•Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.

•Ability to read and follow technical drawings and blueprints.

•Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt on-site.

•Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform carpentry tasks.

•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Must have your own set of tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience with custom cabinetry or millwork.

•Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
