Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
Location: Epworth Villa – Oklahoma City, OK
Status: Full-Time
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 7 PM to 7 AM AND 7 AM to 7 PM
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Starting at $17.00+ per hour, based on experience
- $500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible full-time new hires
Available to CNAs, CMAs, and Charge Nurses
Effective May 30, 2026, eligible clinical floor staff may earn an additional $3.00 per hour worked each pay period by meeting the program requirements.
Eligibility RequirementsTo qualify each pay period, employees must:
- Have no unscheduled absences
- Have no unauthorized overtime
- Take all required 30-minute unpaid meal breaks
- Complete the Daily Advanced Entry Check-In
- Remain current on all HealthStream training requirements
- Park in designated employee parking areas
- Have no corrective action within the previous 30 days
This incentive program is being offered as a pilot and will be evaluated monthly beginning in June 2026.

Position SummaryThe Certified Medication Aide is responsible for administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and organizational policies. This position works closely with nurses and other care team members to monitor resident health, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure exceptional quality of care.
Essential Responsibilities- Administer scheduled and as-needed medications accurately and safely.
- Maintain complete and accurate medication administration records and documentation.
- Monitor and record vital signs as directed.
- Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral condition and promptly report concerns to licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication cart and work area.
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support resident care needs.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care, including dementia-sensitive communication techniques.
- Follow all medication administration, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Current Oklahoma Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required; American Heart Association certification preferred.
- Previous experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Memory Care, or Senior Living preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
- Excellent observation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, dependability, and professionalism.
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and activities of daily living.
- Ability to lift, transfer, push, pull, or exert up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance and appropriate equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
