Position: CHS Travel:Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology (R)

Position Information:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a graduate of an accredited program AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer or NMT or has Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) registry. The NMT is responsible for providing timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: administering a variety of nuclear isotopes for the purpose of scanning for and detecting pathology, regulating equipment used to scan, and prints, develops and organizes films.

SHIFT: MON-FRI - 7am to 3:30pm  - CALL EVERYDAY AFTER REGULAR SHIFT

REQUIREMENTS:

• ARRT OR NMTCB

• Current BLS

• Required nuclear medicine skill sets

• May float to CT if in skill set

EMR- MED HOST

PATIENT RATIO- 1 nuc med modality- Average 4 exams per day
