We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a plastics manufacturing organization in Dallas, Texas on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. This position supports customers, distributor partners, and internal sales contacts by handling product-related questions, processing orders accurately, and helping ensure a smooth service experience from inquiry through fulfillment. The role is ideal for someone who combines strong communication skills with attention to detail and can confidently manage both customer interactions and order support activities.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound customer and partner inquiries, addressing product-related questions and routing more complex concerns to the appropriate internal teams when needed.
• Assist sales and territory contacts by sharing current pricing, product details, and estimated lead times to support customer decisions.
• Recommend suitable products based on application needs and provide knowledgeable guidance to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Record customer interactions, requests, and follow-up actions in Salesforce and related systems to maintain accurate service documentation.
• Enter and manage orders with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring details are complete and aligned with customer requirements.
• Review inventory information in LN to confirm product availability, expected ship dates, and reliable delivery timelines.
• Support the overall customer journey by proactively communicating updates and helping resolve service issues efficiently.
• Participate in cross-training efforts so the team can maintain coverage and consistent service across product support activities.• Experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing role.
• Ability to manage order entry tasks accurately while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling inbound calls and customer communications in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical, pricing, and delivery information clearly.
• Technical aptitude and the ability to understand product specifications and align recommendations to customer applications.
• Experience using CRM, order management, or related business systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Ability to interpret inventory and availability information to provide dependable lead times and customer commitments.
