Duluth, the closest major city, is about 110 miles south, making it roughly a two-hour drive for urban amenities and travel connections.You must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or a compact state and at least one year of recent emergency room experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Critical Access facility looking specifically for ED nurses, though travelers will work in both the ED and Med/Surg so floating is required (ED nurses tend to cross train quickly to Med/Surg at this facility).
