Packer

(Crowley, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking reliable and hardworking Packers to assist with grocery order fulfillment, packing operations, and delivery preparation in a warehouse environment. This position involves packing general merchandise and meat products into coolers or ice chests and preparing orders for shipment and delivery.

Essential Duties:
• Pack grocery orders accurately and efficiently for shipment or delivery
• Pack shopped items and place them in coolers or ice chests for transport
• Shop and package meat products while maintaining proper handling procedures
• Ensure all items are securely packed for temperature-controlled delivery
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles and trailers as needed
• Organize and prepare completed orders for shipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
 • Perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, twisting, turning, and standing throughout the shift

Requirements/Skills:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or fulfillment environment
• Dependable with reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of safe food handling practices is a plus
• Willingness to work overtime or adjusted start times when required
 • Ability to report as early as 5:00 AM when needed

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, turn, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to safely assist with loading and unloading operations
 • Ability to work in cooler or refrigerated environments as needed

Education:
 • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Schedule:
• Standard shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
 • Occasional early start times beginning at 5:00 AM
