LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing organization. Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

Monday - Friday | Day Shift (occasional schedule flexibility as needed)

Compensation:

$27.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. This role requires a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
  • Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities for reliability improvements
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Follow all company safety procedures and support a culture of workplace safety
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Support facility maintenance projects as needed
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience within manufacturing, production, processing, or similar environments
  • Technical degree, military training, trade school certification, or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment
  • Experience reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
  • Ability to utilize diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
  • Experience troubleshooting automated equipment or industrial controls is preferred
  • Exposure to PLCs, sensors, drives, motors, or automation systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous lead or mentoring experience is beneficial but not required
