Requirements
Requirements-
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Active RN License required at submission
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Driver’s license required at submission
- Candidates must reside outside the facility radius requirement
Unit Details:
- Adult ICU setting
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2–3
- Experience with titrating cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation required
- Common patient populations include trauma, cardiac, stroke, sepsis, respiratory distress, renal failure, vascular, and overdose/substance abuse cases
- RNs are expected to read and interpret telemetry strips
Additional Information:
- Floating may be required to PCU and occasionally MedSurg units
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday requirement applies if holidays fall within contract period
- Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
- Travelers may be placed on call as needed
- Artificial nails are not permitted in patient care areas
- Orientation includes a pass/fail open-book exam with a required passing score of 90%
