This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

Shift: M-F 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM. Some weekend call and one night of call every 7-12 days.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a skilled GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in endoscopic procedures and related technologies.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Assist with endoscopic procedures, including Colonoscopy, EGD, EBUS, and EUS.
\n
• Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures, ensuring high-level disinfection and sterilization protocols are followed.
\n
• Provide direct patient care and support during both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic interventions.
\n
• Perform high-quality instrument processing and cleaning.
\n
• Assist with biopsies and related specimen management.
\n
• Implement infection control measures and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Endoscopy or GI setting.
\n
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
\n
• Active NY nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
\n
• Epic charting experience is a hard requirement.
\n
