About this job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Springfield, OR as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for inpatients and outpatients. You will work under the direction of a radiologist and departmental protocols and may be asked to support other radiographic services as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience. Travel experience required for travel submissions; local candidates may not be accepted.
  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technologist program (JRCERT or equivalent).
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in radiography and CT where applicable.
  • State licensure as a radiographer in Oregon, if required by state law.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proficiency with routine diagnostic CT procedures including head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and image-guided biopsy/drainage procedures.
  • Knowledge of CT system processing, contrast media administration, sterile/surgical procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
  • Prior travel assignments in acute care hospital settings.


Assignment Details

  • Shift: Nights.
  • Weekends and on-call responsibilities may be required.
  • Candidates must be willing to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and call as required by the facility.
