We’re seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent role with an area hospital in Belpre, OH. The CT Technologist will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and operate CT scan equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images. The role includes image transmission to PACS, quality review of studies, participation in CT call rotation, and routine department tasks to maintain supplies and compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography or primary radiography certification with CT specialty as required by the employer.
- BLS certification.
- Experience operating CT scanners and transmitting images to PACS.
- Experience scheduling patients and coordinating with outpatient scheduling staff.
- Experience participating in CT call rotation and flexible availability to work varied shifts.
- Knowledge of computer systems used in medical imaging and electronic scanning of documents.

Job Functions:
- Operate CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans in compliance with ARRT/ASRT scope of practice and Ohio Department of Health rules and regulations.
- Review each examination for technical accuracy and image quality.
- Transmit images to PACS and scan associated documents into the system.
- Rotate CT call responsibilities per department schedule.
- Check supplies for expiration and dispose of expired items appropriately.
- Maintain 75% attendance at department meetings and remain compliant with RQI requirements.
- Schedule patients in coordination with the Outpatient Scheduling Department.
- Assume additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
