Minimum Qualifications


• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.

• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required.

• Radiation Therapist with 4 or more years of experience (client-specific requirement).

• Familiarity with OBI—KV, MV, and CBCT imaging.

• Experience with VMAT, 3D treatments, SRS, SBRT, and emergency treatments such as whole brain treatment and spinal cord compression.

• BCLS certification.

• Experience with Mosaiq and Meditech documentation systems preferred.

• Experience with TrueBeam and Varian iX equipment preferred.


Preferred Qualifications


• Preferred TrueBeam experience.

• Preferred OSMS experience.


Assignment Details


  • Shift hours: 0800-1630.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime scheduling requirements.
  • Documentation systems used: Mosaiq and Meditech.
  • Equipment: TrueBeam and Varian iX linear accelerators.
  • Floating policy: NA.

Impacting Patient Care


As a Radiation Therapist in this unit you will operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, accurately position patients with appropriate immobilization, verify treatment plans and dosages with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and maintain accurate treatment documentation. The unit supports high-acuity procedures including VMAT, SRS, SBRT, and emergency treatments for conditions such as spinal cord compression and superior vena cava syndrome.
