Commercial Flooring Estimator in Denver (Hybrid)

Position Summary
The Commercial Flooring Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive flooring estimates for a variety of commercial projects. This individual will work closely with project managers, sales teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely and precise bid submissions. Experience utilizing Measure Square and/or Callidus estimating software is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents for commercial flooring projects
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates using Measure Square and/or Callidus
Prepare detailed proposals, bids, and project pricing packages
Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and product information
Analyze labor, material, and project costs to ensure profitability and competitiveness
Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams throughout the bidding process
Maintain organized bid files, project documentation, and estimating records
Participate in project handoff meetings with operations and project management teams
Assist in identifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
Stay current on market pricing, flooring products, and industry trends

Qualifications
2+ years of commercial flooring estimating experience preferred
Experience with Measure Square and/or Callidus required or strongly preferred
Strong understanding of commercial flooring materials, installation methods, and project workflows
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience
Experience estimating projects within education, healthcare, corporate, multifamily, hospitality, or retail sectors
Knowledge of contract flooring operations and project management processes
Background working with general contractors and subcontractors
