Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
  • Active Maine Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with restorative nursing programs, fall-risk management, and mobility/retraining interventions preferred.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently, perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Current documentation and electronic medical record experience preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
  • Scheduled Hours: 5x8 (35 hours per week).
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
  • Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
