We’re looking for an experienced RN - L&D to join a dedicated maternity care team in Oxnard, CA. Job Details

• Location: Oxnard
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $2880 to $3080

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries and emergency procedures
• Perform fetal monitoring and assess labor progression
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff

Requirements

• Active RN License in California
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications required
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) experience preferred
• Strong maternal and newborn assessment skills
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
