RN – Palliative Care / Hospice
- 13-week travel assignment
- Day Shift: 8-hour shifts
- Start times: 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- ELNEC certification preferred
- Minimum 2–5 years of recent Palliative Care and/or Hospice experience
- Strong Acute Care hospital experience required
- ICU and/or Oncology experience preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and patient advocacy skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a daily caseload of palliative care patients
- Conduct patient assessments and chart reviews
- Facilitate goals-of-care discussions
- Provide education on disease processes, advance directives, and POLST forms
- Support end-of-life care planning and family meetings
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with the care team
Schedule & Work Environment:
- No call requirements
- No traditional floating; patients are seen throughout various hospital units
- Business casual attire with comfortable shoes and a white lab coat
- Unit-specific orientation provided
Additional Notes:
- Palliative care experience is highly preferred
- Role focuses on care coordination, patient and family support, education, and care planning rather than direct bedside patient assignm
