Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
• Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips monitors while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Administer non-titrating drips and manage patients on CPAP and high-flow oxygen
• Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and PCT support team to maintain excellent patient ratios
• Float to other telemetry units as needed while delivering consistent, patient-centered care
• Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Strong EKG interpretation skills
• Cerner EMR experience
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac step-down and telemetry monitoring expertise
• Comfortable managing lung transplant, MI, and pre-transplant patients
• Proficient with Philips telemetry monitors and EKG interpretation
• Skilled in sterile technique for Foley and central line procedures
• Able to float between multiple telemetry units as census requires
