Cath Lab Tech in Berwyn, IL

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact by supporting patient care in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab setting. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Cath Lab Technologists looking to utilize and expand their imaging and procedural skills.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 13-week contract beginning 6/15
• One weekend call-back every 6 weeks
• One call-back assignment per week

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification required
• Valid IEMA license is a must
• Active CPR certification
• Recent, hands-on Cath Lab experience utilizing GE equipment
• Proven proficiency in initiating intravenous access
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols and cardiac procedures

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate cath lab imaging systems and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Start and manage intravenous lines according to best practices and facility protocols
• Monitor and respond to patient needs and changes during procedures
• Participate in scheduled call-backs, providing quick and effective response during emergent cases
