School Psychologist

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in the Providence, Rhode Island area is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full‑time, school‑based contract. This position serves K–12 students and focuses on assessment, intervention, and collaboration to support academic achievement and social‑emotional development. Candidates who are collaborative, detail‑oriented, and committed to student success are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate academic, cognitive, and social‑emotional functioning
• Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, compliant written evaluation reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Support a safe, inclusive, and student‑centered learning environment

Qualifications

• Active School Psychologist licensure in Rhode Island
• Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
• Prior experience preferred
