SENIOR ESTIMATOR RESTORATION / EXISTINGSTRUCTURES
Location: North Florida Region
Travel: Frequent Regional Travel
Reports to: VP of Sales and Estimating
Compensation: $100,000 $125,000 Base + Bonus
Type: Full-Time
IMPORTANT
This position is specifically focused on exterior restoration and existing occupied structures, not ground-up vertical construction. Candidates must demonstrate experience estimating projects involving unknown conditions,
engineering-driven scopes, phased construction, and occupied environments.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimating and preconstruction efforts for restoration and
existing structure projects throughout the region. This is a hands-on leadership role with full estimating ownership, nota support-only position, requiring direct collaboration with sales, operations, engineering firms, property managers,and condominium associations. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of restoration work, includingevolving field conditions, occupied-building coordination, phased construction sequencing, and engineering-drivenscopes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end estimating and preconstruction efforts for restoration and existing-structure projects with minimal
oversight.
Review drawings, specifications, engineering reports, investigative reports, and project scopes; perform detailed
quantity take-offs.
Prepare estimate spreadsheets, bid proposals, budgets, and detailed pricing models.
Coordinate with manufacturer representatives, vendors, and subcontractors to secure pricing, product
recommendations, and value-engineering opportunities.
Participate in bid strategy, scope analysis, risk assessment, and project planning discussions.
Interact directly with engineering firms, property management companies, consultants, and HOA/condominium
associations.
Support relationship development through networking, trade organizations, and industry events.
Assist with project handoff and provide estimating support during project execution as needed.
Evaluate project risks related to occupied environments, unknown conditions, logistics, and sequencing.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
7+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction or specialty contracting.
Demonstrated experience with restoration, concrete repair, waterproofing, building envelope systems, or related
specialty construction scopes.
Ability to independently manage estimates and prioritize multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Strong collaboration skills across sales, operations, and field teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Florida or Southeast market experience is strongly preferred.
STRONGLY PREFERRED
Concrete restoration estimating experience.
Experience working in occupied building environments.
Familiarity with engineering-driven scopes, investigative reports, and phased construction sequencing.
Experience estimating projects with evolving or unknown field conditions.
THIS ROLE IS NOT A FIT IF YOU
Have only ground-up vertical construction experience with no restoration exposure.
Work purely in a back-office estimating capacity with limited client or engineering interaction.
Are unwilling to travel regularly within the region.
