.Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our metal fabrication team on day shift. This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to fabricate custom sheet metal components used in truck box manufacturing. The ideal candidate has prior fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
  • Select appropriate tooling and machine settings for each job
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and efficiently
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of press brake setup, tooling, and programming
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy materials
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen (includes testing negative for marijuana)
