Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid certification as an Imaging - IR Tech
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with specialty in Interventional Radiology preferred
- Massachusetts state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum one year of recent IR Tech experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology protocols, safety procedures, and imaging equipment
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient care skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging for interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines
- Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Accurately complete patient records and ensure timely image management
