Job Description
Forklift Mechanic / Equipment Mechanic
We’re hiring experienced Forklift Mechanics / Equipment Mechanics to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and mechanical equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with automotive, diesel, forklift, or industrial maintenance experience who enjoy hands‑on work and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair forklifts and mechanical equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
Complete repairs on customer, rental, and company equipment
Execute warranty and recall repairs
Order parts and maintain service records
Communicate with team members and customers
Use hand tools and shop equipment to complete repairs
Maintain a clean and safe work area
What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of mechanic experience, such as:
Forklift mechanic
Equipment mechanic
Automotive or diesel mechanic
Industrial maintenance technician
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
Experience performing equipment repairs
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and with a team
Nice to Have
Forklift repair experience
Hydraulics or electrical systems experience
Preventive maintenance experience
Experience with diagnostic tools
Work Environment
Shop‑based mechanical repair setting
Hands‑on, tool‑based work
Team‑oriented environment
