Travel Operating Room Technician | Hendersonville, Tennessee

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position provides an outstanding opportunity to expand your surgical expertise by working at a high-acuity, 1000+ bed hospital with a Level 1 trauma center. Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (9a–9p)
• Days worked will vary based on unit needs; no block schedules available
• Required flexibility for late stays as necessary
• Potential to float between operating rooms (not locations)
• Orientation Dates: 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13 (no orientation the weeks of 6/8, 6/15)

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Tech (NBSTA certification required, must be on file)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience, and prior travel experience
• Proficiency in thoracic and vascular surgery, including endovascular cases
• Experience in trauma and transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), and all major case types
• Ability to scrub is required; must demonstrate scrubbing proficiency

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support in a 56-bed OR and 5 procedural rooms for adult patients
• Assist with complex surgical interventions, including neuro, ortho, GYN, urology, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, and more
• Collaborate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Float within the OR as operational needs arise
