Preventative Maintenance Technician

PM Mechanic-Direct Hire- $23-26/hr

Job Description

As a PM Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food manufacturing lines run smoothly by performing preventive maintenance tasks. You will work on production equipment and utilize hand tools to fix and adjust machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on food manufacturing lines.
• Ensure smooth operation of production equipment.
• Utilize hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers to fix and adjust machinery.

Essential Skills

• 2-3+ years of mechanical aptitude experience in production or the auto industry.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Experience with mechanical repair and preventive maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the food/beverage industry is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

You will be part of a maintenance team of 12 within a plant that employs over 100 production workers. The work environment requires steel-toed boots, with a 6 AM start time for the 1st shift. There is potential for PM mechanics to transition to a weekend shift after a month of training. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, with frequent Saturday shifts (2-3 per month).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr.
