Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing leadership and operational oversight of medical/surgical units and the ICU
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care to patients and families
• Apply sound human resource and financial management principles to guide nursing services
• Support comprehensive patient and family services through active participation with the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with physicians on the implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and regulations to facilitate optimal nursing care
• Assume 24-hour responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care activities and service operations

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Maine or Compact licensure in good standing with the Board of Nursing 

Preferred Experience / Skills\nMaster's degree in Nursing preferred\nSpecialty and/or leadership certification preferred
