Position Overview
College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team. This facility is a 114-bed psychiatric center currently expanding toward an acute-level care setting. We are looking for compassionate and skilled nurses with experience working in behavioral health populations ages 5–18.
Compensation
- Local RN Pay: $58.00/hour
- Weekly Gross Pay: $2,088.00
- Schedule: Per Diem/ 12-hour shift
- Overtime Pay: $87.00/hour

Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to pediatric and adolescent behavioral health patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and behavioral changes
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
- Complete accurate charting and documentation using Cerner EMR
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Arizona RN License
- Minimum 1 year of behavioral health/psychiatric nursing experience required
- Experience working with patients ages 5–18 required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Cerner experience required
- Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced behavioral health environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous acute psychiatric facility experience
- Experience with pediatric/adolescent behavioral health populations
- CPI or behavioral intervention training preferred
