Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred
• Previous OB and/or Med Surg experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to obstetric and medical-surgical patients
• Perform maternal and newborn assessments
• Monitor fetal heart tones and patient vital signs
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
• Assist with labor support and postpartum care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans
• Document care accurately in the EMR
