§ Salary: $230,000 to $320,000 Base Salary (Accompanied by comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, retirement plans, and performance-based bonus eligibility)

§ Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Minimum 1,850 hours annual billed target.

§ Duties: The incoming attorney will step into a pivotal role within the Commercial Litigation group, actively managing complex cases and driving trial strategies from inception through resolution. This position is designed for an ambitious litigator ready to take the lead on sophisticated business disputes and manage a demanding, high-stakes docket.

Core responsibilities include:

⨖ Drafting, filing, and aggressively arguing complex pre-trial and dispositive motions in state and federal venues.

⨖ Architecting and executing comprehensive discovery strategies, including propounding and responding to intricate discovery requests and managing large-scale e-discovery efforts.

⨖ Preparing for, taking, and defending high-stakes fact and expert witness depositions.

⨖ Serving as second-chair or critical support in both jury trials and bench trials, participating heavily in all phases of courtroom advocacy.

⨖ Directing day-to-day case management, coordinating with senior partners, and maintaining constant, strategic communication with corporate clients.

§ Qualifications: Candidates must possess a proven track record of substantive courtroom and pre-trial experience, capable of immediately contributing to a high-volume, complex docket.

⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school accompanied by exceptional academic credentials.

⨖ Active Bar Membership in good standing within the State of Texas.

⨖ Three (3) to Seven (7) Years of meaningful, hands-on commercial litigation experience acquired within a mid-size to large law firm, elite litigation boutique, or equivalent rigorous trial setting.

⨖ Superior oral and written advocacy skills, with a demonstrated ability to distill complex legal concepts into persuasive arguments.

⨖ A highly proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to manage cases autonomously and lead matters to successful resolutions.

§ Skills: The following qualifications are highly preferred and will distinguish top-tier applicants:

⨖ Prior experience serving in a Federal Judicial Clerkship is highly advantageous.

⨖ Demonstrated success in or a strong appetite for generating new business and building a robust network within the Houston commercial sector.

⨖ Advanced proficiency with modern courtroom technology and trial presentation strategies.
