Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) travel assignment in Berlin, Vermont. Start date: 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,381–$2,565 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Employment Type: Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting with a 100-bed facility.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in ICU and ED settings, following unit protocols.
- Manage mechanical ventilation for patients, adjusting Hamilton C3 and T1 ventilator settings in collaboration with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and Hospitalists; monitor patient response and wean per protocol.
- Deliver NIV therapy (V60 NIV, Airvo 2, F&P Heated HFNC) and administer bronchodilator therapies and airway clearance techniques; perform nebulization as indicated.
- Conduct external transports for adult critical care patients as needed; coordinate with the care team to ensure safe patient transfer.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in EPIC; participate in rounds and care planning; maintain accurate and timely records.
- Provide care across unit-specific procedures and protocols, including bronchodilator therapy, hyperinflation techniques, and NIV strategies; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain readiness for neonatal/pediatric involvement, including NICU/PICU responsibilities as part of a broader pediatric-related role on the unit.

Requirements
- Current Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) and BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy; neonatal/pediatric (NICU/PICU) experience strongly preferred.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years.
- Ability to work a 3x12 night shift schedule in a hospital environment; comfortable working across ICU and ED settings.
- documented experience with adult critical care ventilation and related airway management protocols.
- Demonstrated collaboration with physicians and hospital teams to deliver consistent respiratory care.
