Job Summary
Front-line airframe and powerplant maintenance for a mechanic who does not cut corners. This role covers the full scope of GA piston aircraft upkeep—inspections, diagnosis, system servicing, and return-to-service documentation—carried out with the precision and regulatory discipline the work demands. Every aircraft, every time.
Perform airframe and powerplant inspections in full compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer maintenance requirements
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain piston engines and all associated aircraft systems
Service electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and mechanical components across the fleet
Complete logbook entries, work orders, and all required FAA documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
Uphold safety protocols, quality standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines on every work order without exception
Coordinate with the maintenance team to keep aircraft airworthy and flight operations on schedule
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate in good standing
Demonstrated hands-on experience maintaining piston engine aircraft
Ideal Qualifications
Direct experience maintaining Cirrus aircraft
Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and manufacturer maintenance manuals
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical schematics, and engineering data
Methodical troubleshooting instincts with a systematic approach to mechanical problem-solving
